After what seemed like a never ending and bitterly cold winter, spring sun and warm showers have arrived at the vineyard. My team is hard at work in the fields de-hilling the vines and pruning away old wood to make room for the new green buds to spring forth. The winery is a flurry of activity as well; we are excited to have begun bottling the 2013 vintages and look forward to sharing some incredible wines with you all very shortly.
Last weekend the county celebrated the annual County Terroir Wine & Farmers’ Market, our first local farmer’s market to now sell VQA wines. You will also be able to buy my wines at future markets at the Evergreen Brickworks in Toronto (please check back for dates).
Of course, you can always enjoy a glass of my wine on our picturesque patio now that our outdoor wood-fired pizza oven is open for business!
Open on weekends from 11-6, my team is ready to welcome you to the County with delicious thin-crust pizza made with the highest quality ingredients from some of the region’s best pizza chefs.
Note that on Canada Day weekend we’ll be open from Friday through Tuesday, 11am to 6pm. And for the rest of July and August, from Friday through Monday, 11ama to 6pm.

My personal recommendation is our tarte flambée (white cheddar, crème fraîche, smoked prosciutto, onion) with a glass of County Chardonnay.
Cheers,
Norm
