After a long and protracted winter, our dedicated and tireless vineyard crew has been hard at work unburying our vines and tying up the canes. This is by no means a small task given we now have close to 80,000 vines planted. The buds are starting to push and if the forecast stays true, we should see a great start to the season and hopefully no repeat of last year’s devastating frost.
In early June I am planning two winemaker dinners in Toronto.

Two world-class wine events
  >  May 26-29: Lake Louise Wine Summit at the Post Hotel We are honoured to have our wines poured alongside iconic wines from Champagne, California, France and Italy. In addition, Matt Kramer (Wine Spectator columnist, Author of “Making sense of Burgundy”) will be showcasing two of our wines in his keynote address. It promises to an incredible weekend. Great reviews on our two spring / early summer releases
With summer’s imminent arrival, we have just released our 2014 Chardonnay “Unfiltered” and our 2015 Riesling in VINTAGES.
> The 2015 Riesling (92 points, Carolyn Hammond) is just dry, with fresh citrus notes and comes in at a wonderful 9.8% alcohol, making it an ideal summer sipper on the patio at home or on the dock at the cottage.
> Our 2014 Chardonnay “Unfiltered” (92 points, John Szabo MS) is one of the brightest and most minerally-driven Chardonnays we have ever fermented. Tasted blind we have had many favourable comparisons to great Chablis.
The ’14 Chardonnay is currently an exclusive to VINTAGES, we are selling the critically acclaimed ’13 at the winery.
Pizza Oven
I am excited to announce that our wood-fired pizza oven is now open for the season. We have our entire rockstar kitchen crew back from last year. We are open from 11 til 6 Friday through Monday In May and in June through to Thanksgiving Monday we will be open Thursday through Monday (closed Tuesday and Wednesday).
