The 2018 vintage is resting in the cellar and the vines are now finally buried just in time for winter. The cold and wet November added to the challenges of burying the vines. Thankfully with a tremendous amount of persistence and grit they are well buried for the winter.
We were humbled and slightly overwhelmed receiving the coveted 4 star (highest) rating in Hugh Johnson’s 2019 pocket wine book. A huge honour for us and the 5 other Canadian wineries who received 4 stars.
Each year, in anticipation of the holiday season, we put together a mixed 6 bottle case of back Vintages. We dug deep into the cellar for this year’s offering. Each case includes one bottle of County Pinot 2007 and 2008, one bottle of Niagara Pinot Noir from 2009, a bottle of County Chardonnay 2008 and a bottle of Niagara Chardonnay from the 2008 and 2009 vintages. A great way to explore old vintages and different appellations/terroirs. My team tasted through the various vintages finding the wines to be vibrant, youthful for their age and simply delicious.
Please click here to order. As always we offer free office or home delivery in Ontario for orders $90 or more, mixed cases are always welcome.
Cheers from a chilly Prince Edward County,
