I have two great announcements to share with you.
The first is the release of our first ever Whole Cluster Cabernet Franc. Whole-cluster refers to the method of fermenting grapes with their stems still attached, ensuring great purity of fruit. This can only be done in exceptional years where the grapes received a lot of sunshine. 2020 was a generous and robust year, so we seized the opportunity to experiment and see if we could raise the bar. Taking this risk has paid off exceptionally well. The wine has tremendous purity of fruit and amazing tension. Available for your enjoyment at the winery and home delivery from our online store. Only 8 barrels produced!
Once or twice a year we offer a very special auction item consisting of a private vineyard tour, barrel tasting and an epic multi-course lunch cooked by Norm for 8 people. Norm will also open up some gems from his cellar to pair. 100% of the money raised from this wonderful auction item will go toward helping Tanya Hassenberger’s second volunteer medical mission to Tanzania. Tanya was one of our many star employees. She started working for us as a slightly precocious young teenager in the kitchen/patio. Five seasons with us and a lot of long nights studying later, she is now an exceptional ER nurse.
