The highest quality wines require a great deal of time and patience. I am thrilled to release two exceptional single vineyard wines that have taken over 21 years for the vines to produce this quality fruit. Single vineyard wines are produced from only one vineyard, and as such inherit all the qualities unique to the typography of that single patch of land: it’s distinctive soil, moisture, sunlight, wind, and temperature. The wine is a true expression of that single vineyard.

The result is richer more complex wines that will go well with hardy winter fare. Perfect for the holidays. Check out the informative videos on our two magnificent single vineyard wines: the rich and elegant 2020 Pinot Noir Wismer Vineyard and the 2020 Cabernet Franc Cuesta Vineyard, one of our richest red wines.

I had to wait 21 years to bring these to you. But you don’t have to wait to enjoy them.

Of course, we could not produce wine of the highest quality without our diligent, incredibly hard working field crew from Thailand. They left Tuesday to head back home to their families for the winter. They were simply amazing, and we look forward to their return next season.

A few weeks before they left our field crew harvested the last magnificent Cabernet Franc grapes from 2023. They are fermenting away beautifully and will likely all be pressed off by the end of December. The quality of Cabernet Franc this year has been exceptional.

As we head into the holiday season I hope you will share your love of our wines with your friends and family. You can have our wines delivered anywhere across Canada. Free shipping is available for Ontario orders $90+, Quebec orders $200+, and orders to the rest of Canada $300+. Mixed cases are welcome! Please let us know if you would like us to write a personalized card with your delivery. Order here.

Cheers,

Norm

P.S. Over the next few newsletters I will be introducing some of my favourite restaurants that share our passion for delivering the highest quality. When Michelin was in town reviewing restaurants for their guide last year, they somehow missed Edomae Kiyomi. You will experience some of the best sushi and tempura omakase in the city. An intimate dining experience with delicious food paired with a beautifully curated sake list.
